RCA - VGA

I don't think there will be a converter as RCA cables only have 2 wires inside and VGA has 15... I know not all of them are used, but I am pretty sure that more than 2 are being used in a vga cable. :D

Scart?

If you have a PVR consider getting a SCART to VGA connector. A SCART connector would typically output RGB video on three of the pins.

But bear in mind that not all decoders output RGB via SCART. They "should do" but most TVs will typically use the composite or s-video output of the SCART as a fall back. So the decoder may not actually do RGB as its not strictly required.

The only downside is that you would have to order the cable from overseas and it may not work... but if you are ok with those gloomy prospects, then go for it.
