RCT 2000VA - Troubleshooting

You should be able to buy along screwdriver from any decent tool shop. But you’ll need a little more information - the length and what tip it is.

Bought my stuff at builders.. must say the hex driver (general) and security bits (comes with extender) has helped me take apart most appliances to fix blown fuses, pulled cables etc.

But there are still 1-2 types of screw heads that I’ve not found an appropriate bit head for.. thankfully just Ellie’s stuff

Replaced my batteries with 2 x 100ah ones, works perfectly and recharges the batteries in 2-3hrs. I never go below 70% powers notebook, fibre, monitor, desk light, phone charger.

2x 100Ah in 2-3hrs on a 3 amp charger? Or are you using an external charger?

I had that on my APC, it worked fine for years, yes it took longer to charge but it didn't bother me, it was way more efficient than my inverter.

you had 2 100ah batteries on a 3ah charger?

so my entire point was the RCT charger is 3a max with 2a being the bulk of the charge time, which is insufficient to charge 2x100ah batteries
It's not a problem as long as there's enough time for the batteries to charge and there was so I never experienced any issues with it.

How is this setup holding up? I have the same UPS that never got used and want a backup for my CCTV cameras.
