Re : Bitfarm

i think give this guy a free pass for one day and see how much he uploads ... if he's legit he could be a great help to the local bitfarm comm.

Ok what ill do is ill download any file and then share it then ill post the dl/ul screen and duration.... Or create/give me a torrent to download and share and ill post.

Some of us accept payments as bribes for an invite
Where are you based? Cape Town or elsewhere?

I can still remember the few weeks when my friends and I (including a lot of other people) had free access to SEACOM's 600Mbps connection via SANREN from Stellenbosch University.
It was pretty awesome to see people upload torrents at 2MB/s (not Mbps), and like 5 PC's next to each other, all downloading at 5-7MB/s.
The fastest speed I got with a single download was 33MB/s from an OpenSUSE mirror in Italy, and I think my HDD was the bottleneck in that case which was sad.

Now we still have that kind of speeds, but now we unfortunately have to pay like R0.1/MB - R0.01/MB, which would cost tonnes of money if you download/upload a lot.

So this is like leachthis. Could I get an invite to bitfarm?
when you provide proof that you have read this whole thead, and have payed R10000 into each of our bank accounts, yes

I have been on Bitfarm for 2 weeks now.
It is so damn easy to comply with the rules... those that come to whinge here are actually liars. I managed to get a great ratio and that while my line was giving problems. So there is no excuse!!
