I am looking for a safe and decent dating site where I can meet people.

I have been on sites where you either get hit on or it seems that it is only people that like one-night-stands.

Any advice?

Dating Buzz do a reasonable job of monitoring new profiles & removing the obviously objectionable. They also are normally pretty quick in responding to member's complaints.

OTOH, it is in the nature of the beast that you will get hit on by pretty much both sexes In this respect a dating site does allow you to simply delete the email: it's not that easy to drop an aggressive boor in a club (or similar).

The first email normally sends a lot of signals. Learn to interpret the signals - and learn to run if you spot any negatives

I learned that some guys would drop a single in this form: "You're hot, you want to go out and do it?" (or much more crude)

Luckily on dating sites you're able to block that type of ****. Just make sure if you have Facebook to secure your profile to friends only. And use a nickname in the dating site OTHER than your name so they can't find you easily.

I use Datingbuzz, only people with class use that website . I am a subscriber there as well, but there are a few women who have asked me to pay for their subscription, which is a big turn off for me since I like my women financially independent.
