hi guys,

i usually get a ping of 40 in cod4. im on telkom internet.

lately i been geting 100+ i got antivirus e.t.c.

anyone else got fixes or experiencing same stuff?

hmmm, mine has gone up to about 90 from 40 now that you mention it, but is not a problem, yet.

stfury, you dont use cybersmart as an ISP by any chance ? if you do, then the problems lies with their server config, as my friend and I also had pings of 60 -75 and now its 100+ constantly. Thank goodness I still have my IS local only account as well

Just adjust to a higher ping!I played 300+ hours of quake wars on a ping of 350.Although COD4 may be a different game im sure an extra 40ping wont hurt too much.

What happens if it goes from 100 to 250? still playable?

Well said, I had a ping of 52 all the time but playing last night or the last few nights my ping has jumped to 100 its constant but its still 100.
