We want to set up a network which would entail the following. Server running Windows Server 2003, two workstations running XP Pro or Vista, two notebooks running XP Pro or Vista and two Apple Macs.

Can I network a Mac in a PC environment?

All depends on what they should do.

We have a standard MS setup and just added the Mac user, they do not authenticate against MS but use the exchange services.

We will probably just end up doing the same.

It is for when you want to access shared folders on the server.

almost the same command as in Linux if you have Samba client installed :D

Will then prompt you for a Username & Password Combo
My shares - even windows ones - show up automatically these days in the finder under Leopard. :)
