Read/Open/convert PST file

Can anyone recommend a program to read/open a PST file, other than Outlook?

I've got a PST file exported from a version of Outlook that I'd like to import to Windows Live Mail ... but Windows Live Mail can't import a PST directly. I'm thinking of converting or something ?

Any other options I have?

Unless I'm reading wrong, one still needs Outlook - and it appears the link on that page for download the trial doesn't work :/ Anyone know where I can get an Outlook trial?
