last question...completely forgot about plex debrid.....should I rather uninstall plex and install plex debrid?
I already have zurg mounted nicely....last time I tried plex debrid I couldn't get the rclone to work properly but that was before zurg.

If you’re in the Apple ecosystem Infuse will also work great.

Nice guides at the bottom but basically if you have it mounted already you just add it to your Plex, Plex Debrid isn't a separate client or anything.

Why not set it up with plex, then you only access it only via 1 ip

You can either:
A. Setup something like wirguard/openvpn on your computer then connect the devices (that have different IPs) to it when they want to make use of your RD account.

B. Setup plex so RD only sees 1 IP, no matter the amount of people who use it.

C. Get another RD account for the other device(s)

D. Tell the other person when you're gonna stream/download something so they don't use the account at the same time as you.
