Realistic consumption: BMW 320d

Assuming the 220d and 320d should be similar in consumption, or am I wrong?

A little better. Had a 220d and was getting about the same figures as (T)Man but I was usually City driving to work and back.

When did cars become so F@#@CJen expensive?!

2nd hand market got f*&ked up during the lockdown and just after when there was a shortage of chips that held up new cars this pushed the pricing in the 2nd market, great for sellers sucks for buyers.

Also some newer replacement models are making people look for the previous models has they were better spec and in some cases looked better than the current model, eg Golf 8 GTI the 7.5 GTI looked so much better and came better spec from factory.

I would like to have a view of the BMW 320d's diesel consumption (realistic figures) from people that use the vehicle, and not as claimed by manufacturers. I am currently using a VW up! for 80km commute, giving me 4.4 - 4.8 l/100km.

Also, rough figures for non-dealership service costs please.

Just took a peek online and there are alot of 320Ds available but very few 330Ds but alot of those are Pre-LCI which had timing chain issues, make sure that the timing chain and guides were changed under the recall. Its a pain and costly to change timing chain on these engine as its an engine out job.
