Really annoyin messages, please help (bridged mode)

I went to a friends house and I connected to his internet, which was in bridged mode. OK sure, I'll use my own bandwidth whatever so he set it up for me...

Here I am, a week later getting random pop-ups stopping me from connecting at times numerous times, REALLY REALLY annoyed...

Its the whole "Username and Password" blah blah blah thing...

How do i Get rid of it???

Simply delete the connection details as setup on your system.

I assume at home your router takes care of things so you don't want your computer thinking it should "dial" into your connection.

Go to control panel and then NETWORK CONNECTIONS. The ISP details should be listed there. Delete it and all should be fine.

You can also set your browser to NEVER DIAL a connection in its connection settings.

Ja, just delete the PPPoE dial-up connection... simple.

The go to internet connections and select "never dial a connection"

Your default DNS settings are usually the routers ip adress set in the Local are connections settings
