Realtek card type, does this mean all cards (realtek cards) use the same driver (currently version R1.87)?

www.realtek.com gives you options to download realtek HD drivers based on your OS not the card type, does this mean all cards (realtek cards) use the same driver (currently version R1.87)?

If its a laptop, google "[laptop make and model] audio drivers" otherwise if its for a desktop google "[card make and model] audio drivers" and see what pops up. If it directs you to the same page, then dl the driver and install it. Worst that will happen is it won't work then all you do is uninstall the driver and start with google again.

Is there a quick way to check the card type and model?
