Why have any hassle? Phone your broker and they will sort everything out even the recovery of your excess and you shouldn't have any increase in premium. AF have a claims binder and they handle and settle the claim.
Panel beater has to be Lexus approved if your car still under warranty.
Good luck and make the broker earn their commission.

Unfortunately the car is insured directly with Alexander Forbes via the company she works for as they pay for her insurance.

Also, Eastern Autobody isn't a Lexus approved shop. Just checked the list that Lexus sent me.
