Reasonable price for a diagnostics test?

It's got to do with some air sensor, I think it's about 200 at GM, for the part.. if they find the problem they don't charge the diagnostic fees

No corsa lite's will work with an elm327 ODBII scanner. Don't waste your time or money. They have a different Bosch Motronic ecu custom made for the South African market. You have the 16 pin OBDII port but the ecu is not OBDII compliant.

Will it work with a Corsa C?

My dad charges R600, yes it may sound a lot, but if you let him fix the faulty component he will deduct the scan off the invoice.

Do you use that with a phone or laptop?

If you can wait you can order them from eBay for around R80 incl shipping

Both, comes with disc and can work with any phone or laptop.

Worked perfectly, connector was behind fusebox, did the tests, even gave the exact code according to GM, has a link to dtccodes.com, didn't think it would pick up as my car is korean

I'd say money well spent, as it can be used in almost every modern car today, and you never ever have to pay xxx amount to reset it
Or guess what mechanic xxx saying,

Yip this, he did mention he cleaned map sensor, i suggested he change it and tpm sensor as well.

As when my car did something similar, that fixed the issue.

Didn't hear back from him, hope its all fixed up now OP?

I have an ELM327 which works perfectly via my S3.
Just remember, no use resetting fault codes before fixing fault.
Lots of people want the annoying light switched off for seat belt or some other thing but don't realise it's on because there is a problem.
