Hello.

Who is the FNO?

It all depends on how quickly the line is released with your current ISP and activation may take 24 to 72 hours once we have managed to place an order with the FNO.
 
Hi, thanks for the quick response.
The FNO is Vumatel.

I am not receiving the service I expect from Cool Ideas and therefore am looking at moving over to Afrihost, so the amount of downtime involved is really critical.

I am sorry to hear that. Please let me know when you have submitted the cancellation and the effective date with your current ISP.

I haven't made my decision yet. Just to confirm - is 24-72 hours a firm deadline for migrations on Vumatel?
Does this timeframe include weekends?

Unfortunately, it does not include weekends.


Please note that when you have signed up, and your ISP has not released your line yet, we can log an early release with Vumatel and that alone can take up to 72 hours.
We can only activate once we have placed an order for your line with the FNO.
