I chatted to Rune on the phone and he told me some stuff off the record that convinced me it was legit. I have yet to receive any complaints from customers saying they didn't receive goods they paid for.@Jan - Sure this isn't another Sybaritic?
The government banned them from trading for nearly 7 weeks. Lots of businesses didn't survive that.So if they closed because of Covid now they reopening during covid.
Nani?
Ja but those okes never have stock hey....We already have better. Buy from Wootware.
Yes I will never forget my experiences dealing with the likes of Sybaritic and Uniterm. You order your stuff, wonder if you lost your money because there are no communications about the order process, get sketchy invoices missing VAT numbers and other legal requirements. Eventually get a collection note and go to some dingy unmarked building where some grumpy Afrikaans receptionist doesnt even bother to greet you from behind her box of slap chips and wait an hour for them to bring your order and throw you out the door like they just did you a favor taking your money.I will definitely support Rune again, the rest of the people in our clan will too. Even if he is a bit more expensive, his service was unbeatable. My personal opinion might not have an impact on a stranger, but the gaming communities I am apart of know and trust RTech.

Hopefully did right by his creditors / suppliers too - to use the same brand while not using the same legal entity is odd especially if the cc is still being wound up.I chatted to Rune on the phone and he told me some stuff off the record that convinced me it was legit. As far as I'm concerned, Rune has always tried to do right by his customers and so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
He said he did. The CC is not actually being liquidated, it's being deregistered. While Rebel Tech went out of business, it seems none of its creditors applied for liquidation. That says something. It sounded like Rune made arrangements to pay the company's debts out of his own pocket.Hopefully did right by his creditors / suppliers too - to use the same brand while not using the same legal entity is odd especially if the cc is still being wound up.
How did Wootware, Takealot, Evetech and such start trading on the 1st of May? It should've only been 5 weeks at most.I chatted to Rune on the phone and he told me some stuff off the record that convinced me it was legit. The CC is being shut down (hence the `rebeltechcc not found` messages in the teaser images) and they'll be trading under a (Pty.) Ltd. when they relaunch.

For those that want some more choice.

I counted from the start of lockdown (27 March) to when ecommerce was completely unbanned (14 May). How did Wootware, Takealot, Evetech and such start trading on the 1st of May? It should've only been 5 weeks at most.
It truly did suck. Although probably just used a stock woocommerce template.I hope their website is better this time around.

Well then I truly hope all the affairs are in order and that he is prosperous moving forward. He said he did. The CC is not actually being liquidated, it's being deregistered.
