Received 5GB free Night Surfer data

I got 3GB a little while ago. So question, if I download something, will it use this free bundle or my usual bundle? How do I see the difference?
 
Yeah, got 2 gigs on one card, 3 gigs on another[-], and I'm guessing it's a first-in first-out situation as the text specifically states "Night Surfer". So it's not like they got it the wrong way around.

Actually, no. It appears they either used the wrong SMS (I assume they store their SMSes in a database) or they allocated the incorrect campaign bundle, because I can confim that it is using data from 7am to 7pm.

Still: Such rubbish, Telkom. We thought you were past this.

I have 1GB left on my normal bundle and now the 3GB on the promo. The normal bundle was used (anytime data), So I do believe the promo bundle is as Airwolf said, from 7am to 7pm.
 
I also got 5GB and it says 7 to 7 peak data, so it's confirmed that this data is valid from 7am to 7pm each day?
is a bit of a weird time slot, why not just make it the normal peak from 7am till 12am midnight each day.

My free promo data is 7am to 7pm. Tested it yesterday.
 
Whatever happened, Telkom missed something somewhere...
 
Initially had just 5GB free peak data.

Just received another 5GB free data, this time off-peak.
 
Yep, had 3GB peak, now off-peak, though mine expires 30th, not 31st.

It actually expires at the end of the 30th. If you *188#, you'll see it expires at midnight tomorrow.
 
I came to the forum here to see what is going on. I also got free data. My 7.5 GB promo contract ran out of data 2 days ago, so I bought 2 GB data to get me to the end of the month. They gave me the 2 GB I paid for, then yesterday I saw they added another 2 GB 7 - 7 peak data.....and now today they have given me another 2GB 7 - 7 peak data.

So, I now have the 2 GB I bought, plus 2GB 7-7 and another 2GB 7-7

Thanks Telkom. I have two other 10 GB contracts, which I have also depleted the data from. Maybe I should put those SIMs in my router to see if they have given me extra data on those two contracts also. woop woop
 
Update: I have just stuck one of my 10 GB data SIMs into a router, and I see I have been given 3 GB 7-7 off peak PLUS 3GB 7-7 peak data.

But...it all ends on 30th December...

So I have
1) 6 GB bonus data on my one 10 GB contract
2) 6 GB bonus data on my second 10 GB contract
3) 4 GB bonus data on my 7.5 GB promo contract

Now, how can I use 16 GB of free data before midnight tomorrow night.....hmmmm

Thanks Telkom, but strangely enough I saw no notification about this - you would think they would get some credit on the MBB front page or somewhere....but no, it just got discreetly snuck into my account. If I hadn't checked my balances I wouldn't have known.
