Receiving e-mail notifications about data usage?

Hi All

Currently my vodacom data sim is in my router, and I can't receive sms's. I am very scared of the OOB shark (I have been bitten in the past), and I would like to receive notification when I have reached x% of my data bundle limit. At the moment the notifications are being sent via sms (which I cannot view due to using my router). I would like to receive these notifications via e-mail. Is this possible?

Yes. You can nominate a Alt Number and Alt email address and notifications will be sent to both the alt number and/or the alternate email.

You can send the letters DNESON (email address) to the number 123. You will then get an email every morning with your data balance.

Why doesn't the website allow us to use to give the alt. number? It only accepts Vodacom numbers.
