Recent experiences getting Schengen visa

UK took 3 days, Greece took 10 days. But my god we had to submit basically every piece of paper known to man to prove why we were going there.

There are fast track visa's and you pay more. Best is to call and ask them what their current processing time is.
Thats pretty normal - when our Serbia visas were rejected we even wrote a 2-3 page "cover letter" in addition to every document imaginable. Got it the second time.

Does the Canary Islands follow the same Spanish Schengen visa application process?

thank you

Do you know anyone that's been rejected for a Visa?
Yes my first Serbian VISA application was rejected.

Reason. Cant be provided.

Now what?

Pay again and reapply.

Granted second time round.

Schengen as long as you provide everything you should be fine.

Update: It took exactly 15 working days to get my visa for Spain, and not the 15 calendar days that the BLS website stated. And this included Easter, so it took over 3 calendar weeks. I got a 90-day visa.

I can't even get a ****ing appointment with VFS in london.

It seems so, yes.
Unfortunately.

Was this long ago? Asking because I know you can enter Serbia and most other non-Schengen European (and even some non-European) countries with a Schengen visa. Don't know how long this has been the case though.

Last year Oct you can go to Serbia with a Schengen but the Serbia VISA is only valid for Serbia.

Our Schengens expired and werent gonna need it soon so only option was Serbian VISA, got it two weeks before flying thoughj

North Korea? Did I miss your thread on this? Because I think it needs a thread.
I also wanna go check them out, maybe in the next few years. Just gotta remember to stay the F away from any posters...

Can also confirm the French is the most generous in terms of visa validity. So to anyone applying in the future, if France is not your main destination and you are able to book refundable/fake airline tickets, go with them.

Do you generally apply through an agency or do you do it all yourself?
