Yes, it is higher version/newer than the one tested and posted for download by Vodacom.
No Vodacom will not help (much) when something goes wrong on untested firmware.

No, a kitten with big eyes will NOT get liquefied every time someone uses untested firmware.
 
Yeah, I see they have removed it from the Vodacom website.

I have it on my PC, but it's 12MB.

I can try send it to you? Not sure if 12MB is too big to send or receive.

Anyone else have links to previous downloads?
 
Constantly lose connection

I have been driven crazy last few weeks with losing connections and i have many friends who have the same problem - from Durban to Johannesburg to Cape Town. I upgraded my modem to a K3715 because Vodacom customer support said it might be my older E620 model. But it is just as bad. Been into Vodacare number of times. I did get acknowledgement from support telling me that there are network problems. But quite honestly i don't know where to go.

I am still having the same issues but Vodacom are doing thier best to try solve the issue.

I had Henry and William come to Belfast from Nelspruit and they spent some time looking at my system, its setup and installed the latest software, checked signal strengths etc.

They also went to the tower to change some settings as far as I know.

Nice bunch of blokes, very helpful and they are going to be following up on my issue.

The connection is still the same, but I have to say to people that Vodacom are trying to fix the issues. This is 10x better service you'll get from Telkom.
