Reception issues

Hi, maby Vodacom3G can help here.

My girlfriend started freelancing and she relies totally on her cellphone (vodacom) for calling and receiving calls.

Now the problem is that Vodacom reception is horrible where we live (disconnects, pops and cracks, ect.). No G3 either, although the map said there isn't , and GPRS is at two bars.

No vodacom phone (tried a couple) works here but MTN is crystal clear. Why is this happening?

Ok, I'll just wait for VG3 to ask for the Id's, although there are something like 5 differant ones every few minutes so I'll wait a while and write down the names.

Oh, and a little bit OT, but that coverage map for G3, any chance that it will expand? That 3G coverage issues won't exist in mayor areas in the near future?

I've sent the request through. Normally takes a few days for the guys to look at everything. Will keep you posted. (No pun intended!)

One of the Vodacom guys came to check out the site today and it looks like they might be able to tweak something to get better reception.

Just wanted to say thanks to Vg3 and Vodacom for actually responding to my request and trying to help.

Thats why I got 3G with Vodacom, good customer support.
