I have the choice between web-africa and imaginet , what shall i choose?
I will be using it for international downloading , so i was thinking something like a 4-5 gig cap.
I wouldn't need anymore.
This would , for me , just be an alternative in case telkom stop's there soft capping.
Thanks. :)

Imaginet is cheaper for 5GB usage.

R279 versus R290 BUT

WebAfrica has a very easy and fast online system. Client interface.

If you're only getting it in case Telkom caps you rather go for WebAfrica prepaid that doesn't expire.

I don´t have any experience with imaginet, but can only highly recommend Web-Africa. They have good packages, excellent support and an extensive webinterface to check usage, billing, etc.

yeah TelkomInternet 3GB + WebAfrica 1GB will work.

R249 per month (and R70 per gig that you need from WebAfrica when you need it)

That Imaginet price excludes 14% VAT. WebAfrica's price includes it, so WebAfrica is both cheaper and better.

Ok thanks for that , i will deffinatly go for Webafrica.
Oh and is there any performance of speed between any isp? or is it ONLY the conection?

lol that gets me everytime I look at that list.. :)

WebAfrica it is

off topic i know , but currantly im downloading from IS news server , and im getting 3 kb/s downloads , and then stops for a couple of seconds , and back to 3.
Why is it so slow?

Ok thanks for that , i will definitely go for Webafrica.

I presume by your question that you are asking if there is any difference in speed between the different ISPs. In short, no. All SAIX shaped accounts will perform identically to all other SAIX shaped accounts, all unshaped accounts perform identically to all other unshaped accounts, etc.

All the ISPs do is just resell the same Telkom SAIX accounts, and allow you to access them. Once you have access there is no difference.

The difference comes in by means of the price of the account, value services like included e-mail accounts, and the level and quality of the support they offer.

The advantage of Imaginet is that when you reach your 3GB or 5GB package limit, you can go on downloading at the per/GB price uninterrupted/unlimited. You do not have to login or contact them to purchase more bandwidth.

Not to sure if WebAfrica does the same.
