Recommend a broker (Cape Town)

Can anyone recommend a broker in Cape Town?

I'm with Indwe Risk Services but just got a letter informing me of a 20% increase on my policy.

My one vehicles value has decreased by almost 20% - and the other 10%.

My home contents is still the same - and I do not see the need for an increase in my building insurance.

Looking for insurance for around R2.2m worth of stuff.

I switched to Hollard from Indwe this month, we are paying less for business, car, bicycle and household insurance than what we paid for our business at Indwe (which was under-insured) and the car at First For Women (was actually a good rate).

Just keep in mind that working through a broker means he fights the fights and not you. All insurance companies are the same, its just your broker that makes them seem better than others.

EDIT: My guy is in Stellies but rather get a local guy.

My broker halved what i would have paid for insurance on my new Audi, so that sold me and i haven't looked back. However, it depends on your risk profile and what insurance company he gets the best deal from obviously.

Referred to me by a colleague, I've since been suggesting his services to all friends and family looking for a better deal on short term insurance.
