Id give them that, I played 1 and 2 skipped 3 and played San andreas.
kids these days will play what they want to play, I dont think dad walking in and giving them something wholesome will change that.

cause all it will do is make them try the violent stuff later on themselves.
 
Spyro, Raving Rabids, any of the Lego games.

Minecraft: Dungeons with two controllers or even 3 , allows 4 player co-op. Fortnite minecraft copy.
 
Just be prepared for sibling violence.

And there is always Roblox though I have no idea what kids see in it.
 
Played half-life, gta 1, quake 2 and carmageddon 2 when I was 12 -13. Doom and duke nukem 3d around 10-11. Sim city 2000 and some old rally game I can’t remember the name for around 10.

Looking at the recommendations here I would’ve started hating my parents. XD

Might be a good start to get a racing game like need for speed but just check the game. They’ve become pretty stupid with more adult related themes.

this, all of the above, all solid good games, bit old now, but you cant knock a classic.
something like need for speed underground 2 is a brilliant game.
 
Vampire survivor is easy, only play with one stick. Or Deep rock galactic survivor
