Hi,

Let's take LED out of discussion, too pricey for me.
Initially we were planning on spending less than 10k.
But we find no 46" less than 10k.

Currently looking at Samsung LCD FHD 46"
What do you guys think?

Without a model number it's impossible to tell.

If you are set on lcd then at least get the 100 hz version, you won't be sorry. However if you click on my profile name and then check threads started by me you will find a fairly lively discussion on the matter. Something along the lines of motion blur in lcds.

First question we need to ask, after giving us your budget, would be what is the TV going to be used for?

*tongue in cheek*
Is it really necessary?...We all know you're going to push Plasma :p

But, yes, knowing what the TV will be used for and the predominant type of source media will be hugely important in helping you decide where to spend your money.

Funny. You know well that I push plasma when it suits the OP's needs. Likewise, if LCD suits their needs, I push LCD.

Thats why its tongue in cheek dude... i'm just ribbing you cos i can :)

Of course I do..

LCD's rock the SOCKS off any plasma out there ;)

I've got a 46" BenQ LCD TV sitting in my garage, never been used. Make me an offer if you want it.

It's full HD, 100hz, 10bit colour... All the goodies you want in a tv. ;-)
