Recommend me a good FPS please.

I dont have a high end system, I5-3750 16GB RAM, and NVIDIA GTX 660Ti 2GB OC Edition. I am in the mood for a nice FPS. I kinda like the WW2 genre. Any recommendations?
 
Unless you like lootboxes and playing online the genre is kinda dead now....
 
Is there nothing that has a single player format? What about Far Cry or Metro?
 
Battlefield V is WW2 but you're going to struggle.
 
How far back you wanna go? And by nice FPS I assume you mean Singleplayer. Also the GPU is the limiting factor here. If you had something like a RX570 or better you could even play most games today @ 60fps.

I've actually had a 660ti before. The game I remember that ran really well was Alien Isolation. I believe I got 60fps+ on good looking settings. As for WW2 I can definitely recommend Wolfenstein: The New Order

I can also highly recommend Metro 2033 and Last Light.
 
Maybe Enemy Front for an arcade WW2 shooter. Never played it myself.
 
Dishonored 1 and 2.
Bioshock Infinite.
Deus Ex - the last 2 new ones.
Halo.
Far Cry series, especially Primal.
I've heard good things about Borderlands 2.
Most of these I'm able to play on my laptop with integrated Intel graphics.
I'm also a long time MOH fan, as Agent-Smith posted.

The genre was done to death in the early 2000's -2010. and shifted over to fantasy, however the last two years saw at least 15 odd WWII games being released, it wouldn't surprise me if it makes a come back in the near future with new engine technology and graphics now available.

I really don't understand this obsession with WWII though, how many times do we still need the same old narrow caricatures of the battles in that specific time era? The good vs evil thing was an utter hoax anyway.

EDIT: farce is probably a better word

I could say Mankind Divided but you would need the hardcore mod, skip most upgrades and need to actively seek out combat instead of sneaking to make it any kind of real challenge....... other than how ridiculously easy it is it's actually a great game in most aspects.

There is also Outer Worlds which is a dumbed down version of a Bethesda Fallout game..... though much less doom and gloom.

For braindead action any Borderlands game I guess..... and it has claptrap.
