Are the LG IPS TV's any better than the Samsung LED's? I see HiFi Corp(cringe) has the LG 42LA6130 for R7999.

R5,500 for Samsung UA40H5100 from a shop in Strand. You could also try Game, if they have the TV and their price is more expensive, they'll beat the Strand shop's price by 10% of the difference in price between both stores. Might be a closer drive too.

Go for the Samsung H5100. It has a DVB-T2 tuner built in. I pick up 44 digital channels from PE.
