Hi
Seeing as I haven't kept up to date with the latest offering can you guys/gals please recommend what would the best package for that price...?

This is for my folks and they'll be getting a 384 line...? I have seen quite a few of the packages but I'm not too sure which ones are the best depending on your experiences...?

thanks :)

Cybersmart then best as you get a gig free if you have your line with them. Makes it easier for your folks as well as they have one place to call when there are issues.

Had a look at them already but I need line rental included. They don't need too much bandwidth at the moment.

As its for your folks, rather get the Do2 offering as it will meet the budget. What are they chances they need uncapped? so why bother then.

If they have problems, they can go to Telkom or get a techie out. Telkom has really improved alot on this side. I'm on Do2 (switched a few months back from Neotel) and really happy with it.

EDIT: Telkom is also offering a free install promo so it makes life easier for you and your folks not to mention that they have one bill and not fragmented bills.

There is telkom simple for R369. It includes everything and no hidden charges.
It includes 1 GB international data and 10 GB local data.

Its just Do1 with noraml line rental - just some rebranding but that is what I was thinking about.

EDIT: I see its "Telkom SIMPLE is exclusive to new Telkom customers."

Anyway, its just a bundled package, nothing you cannot get seperate. The Do2 is only R60 more than Do1 with the extra 4Gb belended Cap.

Are they, I had a quick browse on their site but I didn't see anything.....?
It looks like the do2 package would probably suit them pretty well. I'll just get them a router and then they can sign up for a month to month contract.

OK, I just checked the offer and its for new customers only. If you opt for a self install then its free. Really basic but you go 7 days from the time they notify to do the self install else they send out a techie and charge. But best bet is to speak to the local branch as they are always having various promos.

Technically they are new customers, unless that refers to someone who has never had a telephone line...? Actually that said they had to have the telephone line installed as they moved to a new place. I wonder who qualifies as a new "customer"....
