Recommendation for used auto

Kinda disagree tbh; for a 2015 model it lacks things.Yes it looks good in the higher spec but "old school" engine; 4-speed auto; 2 airbags; no smart infotainment system; its pricey = fail

Yup. Stay away from the auto version of that car. It's so slow. You'd probably be better off with a Kia Rio Auto or something similar.

Slightly better suggestion the auto Rio but still not the A-game.

B-Segment best Auto are; in no particular order:

- 2
- Fiesta
- Polo (pricey though)

Yep. The auto box in the Rio isn't great, but it's somewhat better than the cheap auto boxes they put in the Hyundai's. I drove one recently, was horrid.

I think out of that list, it would have to be the Fiesta. Polo is a little expensive, although it does have DSG, but the Fiesta would be more bang for buck there.

Not sure if I can get a used Mazda2 automatic in my budget.

How about the Cerrato vs the Rio?

Ah, I was talking about an older one; the 2011 model was quite reasonably priced.

Ours is quite decent. Not a speed demon, but very convenient in traffic and as a runabout. I'd be quite happy to drive it day-to-day.

Something to note is that this is going to be my first car. I've driven a few others but that was just to learn. I guess this means I'm looking for something that should be easy to handle as well as if I bang it up, it won't cost me a fortune to fix up. Does that change any of the recommendations thus far, also what's my best bet if I reduce my budget to 120k, is there a 6-speed auto that I can get?

Chev Sonic is available as a 6 speed auto. Might be able to pick one up around that price...

Hi all, wonder if I can join/hijack this thread? Also looking for an Auto, preferably SUV or something easy to get into/out of - having hip replacement surgery soon (long story).

Budget is 100k. Any advice?
