I am looking for a reliable house-sitting service where someone stays at our place and looks after the pets (feed the cats, walk the dog). A brief Google just turns up some highly questionable results. We don't want to put the pets in a kennel, as last time the experience was quite traumatic for them and they would do much better in a familiar environment.

If you have any recommendations, pls post details or PM me.

Wouldn't it be easier to ask a neighbor or friend?

I understand this is a business transaction and there would be some contract but I'm not sure about trusting a stranger in my place.

It would really require someone to stay over. Friends/family are in Pretoria and stay over would be problematic for them. Neighbors are useless and unreliable.

A friend of mine works with StudentCo http://www.studentco.co.za/house-pet-sitters.html
I don't have any personal experience with it, but its worth a try?

Thanks - this looks good. Will certainly read through it in detail.

So what you do:
Load data to the value of what a housesitter will cost for that time, no more.

Then you let agentrfr stay there. No friends allowed.

When and for how long MagicDude?

Couple of days, weeks?

I have a family member studying.

Not sure about MyBB folks in my house ;-). 50Mbps of fibre.

Haha!

My going rate is about 3GB/hr. If I cant watch two twitch streams simultaneously then ima have to turn you down... soz

Oh I'll throw in a free trip to the park with my dogs every second day for free.

Haha,

I think his next Q will be: What's the cap?

:D

What is a cap? It's fibre. Anything less than 500-600GB/pm is a slow month. With all the various offers from MyBB members I would have to institute extreme vetting and check out your most recent forum posts.

Hehehehehe,

You don't need to check my posts :p

Hope you find a reliable person
