Been driving my mom's bmw 320i for awhile now, but it's time I get my own car.

Budget is 55k, looking for something with low mileage. (100k km)

Can any of you car wizards recommend what car manufacturer I should look out for?

Not looking for a 1.2 sh*tbox

Was thinking Opel Corsa 1.4

You should be able to pick up a used Kia Rio at a good price. When they were new they were pricey, but they used to be incredible value for money.

Whatever car you get, just don't compare it to your mom's car lol

Which Corsa model, the Corsa C?
For that kind of money you will get one but maybe with more than 100k kms, but anything less than 150k kms is still good.

+1

My first car, 1998 VW citi golf, bought it for R12000, fixed it a bit, sold it for R21000, then purchased a Ford Fiesta titanium 1.6 - love it... then I saw the Kia Rio

Any Rio with low millage is out of my price range as far as I can see

Toyota runx 140i or maybe even the 160i.

The engines last forever in these cars.

Or a Corolla from that generation - they're pretty much the same car (Excluding the RSI).

I see quite a few 160i's for sale. Can even get a 180i for around the same price.
