Try the 30-day trial version of Eset NOD32 as well just to get rid of this one

It worked! Eset NOD32 found 9 inflitrations - all of which AVG 7.5 missed

And now the problem has disapeared

BitDefender might not be free but its one of the bests. Latest version bitdefender=no viruses

Avast working very well for me at the moment - previously had Mcafee which was a pain...used it for years, but dumped it last year...

I'm loving AVG 8.0. Only thing that irritates me is the Google Link Scanner

the Merc E55 AMG and the Merc C55 AMG and the Merc M55 AMG has same engen in, yet they not the same speed?

avg 8 has better search engen in than 7.x

Avira usually came top in the normal 'scan the sample' test done by AV-Comparitives, and this time it came top in the Proactive test with fast scan speed, good detection and few false positives. And you can get the free personal version too.

Yes, but! if you don't update your anti-virus it becomes prone to attacks
