Just saw that Flipboard is available in the Windows Store!

It runs like a dream and buttery smooth on my crappy Core i3 notebook.

Highly recommended!

Do a reset of the Windows Store.

Press Windows key + R (Run command) and then type in the box : wsreset .

Upgrading to Windows 8.1 was a bad move on my part. My PC now refuses to stay off - after a few minutes it just turns itself on and sits at the login screen. Also, the new 'This PC' screen looks like an amateur third party file browsing app. I much preferred the original layout of 'Computer'.
