Hi
I used Synctoy to back up a customer’s data to an external drive. The drive was full with all sort of stuff we decided to delete the drive and run Synctoy again. I had set synctoy to sync (I now release Echo is better option) originally. I deleted the ext hdd and recreate the folders to back up and ran synctoy. After it ran it deleted a whole bunch of stuff, I am not sure what happened.

I read that it does not delete the files it moves it to the recycle bin I have used” Recover my files” and can get the data back but then I lose my file names. The program “Restoration” Looks like it works better but it does not do the whole batch you have to click each single file
What other options do I have to recover the data as close as possible to the original files? We are talking about 500 GB of photos, publisher files ext
