Recover sent items folder from Outlook pst

A client by mistake deleted their Sent Items folder in Outlook 2003.

Would Easy Recovery 6 be able to recover this if I had a copy of the ' faulty ' pst file?

If there are other apps that could do this please feel free to suggest.

They deleted the items in the deleted folder....

Click on the Deleted Items and then click on Tools and Recover deleted items.

What version are you using? as I am sure 2000 has it and definitely 2003.

Under Tools the closest is Empty Deleted Items Folder.

Remember to click on Deleted Items first otherwise you will not see it.

Yeah, only if you're using exchange.

It's a server setting called "Deleted Items Retention Time".

They deleted the items in the deleted folder....

So lemme get this straight.
First they deleted the Sent Items folder. This action moved it to the Deleted Items folder.
Then they went to Deleted Items and deleted it from there.

And this was accidental ?! Some people shouldn't use computers...

Google lists a number of apps that can recover deleted items from an Outlook PST. Luck.

Very strange as it's considered a system folder and shouldn't be allowed to be deleted. Yup, actually the delete option is greyed out.

Was it maybe an extra .pst file that was created and a sent items folder created by the user and not by the installation?

I haven't seen the pst yet, but I presume she deleted the contents of the sent items folder - and had her deleted items configured to delete upon exiting.

Once I get a copy of the pst will try Easy Recovery - that is if they havent tried to compact the file already....

Just asking because your message says the folder was deleted, not just the contents.
