Hey guys,

I've been doing recreational jumping for a few years and would like to continue (Moved to JHB). Do any of you perhaps know of a trampoline / tumbling club or something similar near Bryanston? I don't really want to take classes, I would just like to jump for the fun of it over weekends and sometimes after work.

Thanks

I don't know, but I imagine this sport is on shaky ground...;)

have not even heard of this! What do you do?

Hi, well basically I do what they do on trampolines at the Olympics, although I'm not as good as they are. I do it because I love the feeling of spinning high up in the air, you're in control and out of control at the same time, it's hard to explain, but it's an awesome feeling!! It also helps me to stay fit and to clear my mind of other things like work.

Not sure. But I think JoziX might have what you are looking for. Just search their name in google.

JoziX doesn't have those kind of industrial trampolines, much less the safety equipment to go around it.
Also, they're outdoors. He's looking for the sort of trampolines you find in a gymnastics gymnasium.

Hi, I looked at the website and like what they're doing, especially the fact that they have a place to practice Parkour, I've always wanted to try that.

I do prefer the bigger industrial trampolines because of the added safety, but I actually learned most of my tricks on a normal ground level trampoline, and yes, there were some blood and broken bones.

I know the Spur in Peter Place has 2 trampolines, my 2 year old loves them!

I joke. :p

Hey, that's just around the corner from where I live... How about I teach your kid some stuff that will make his/her parent's hair go grey a lot sooner? :p

We actually bought her one of those Bounce King 10 ft trampolines with the safety net for her birthday a month ago. She loves it! Calls it a "Jumpy House" :D

The jumpy house, that's actually quite cute... I can't wait for the day to arrive when I'll have kids of my own and I can teach them these sort of things, it's going to be like a mini-me :p

Thanks, will definitely make a turn there sometime.
