red-aluminum-anodized-thumb-screw, local source?

I got my red and blue sets from e-bay as couldn't find them locally - I'm sure someone must do them, somewhere...

Interesting.

Do they come in a universal thread size?

universal in a sense, yes.

most computer screws are either the UTS 6-32 (the thread you use to screw on your case, mount mobo etc etc) and the other is the M3 screw, typically used for screwing in your stiffy drive, CD-ROM etc etc. Its a much finer thread.

comparison here

Ive called around cape town, about 10 different places and they all KNEW what I was talking abou... but they didnt stock.

I went ahead and ordered them from USA

I had to order a 'screw bag' from the US. which was a pain. It was an Antec case. I see Esquire distributes them now so maybe they have bags?
