Red dead redemption or GT5

ok I'm not going to buy a ps3 game anymore maybe in about a years time or so as I first need to get myself a proper sound system.

This is just a very weird choice to make. Do you really love both genres this much? RDR is pretty much a must have game if you like open world sandbox games such as GTA and Just Cause. Actually, it's just a must have game period if you enjoy action games.

No racing game can ever be that good to make a decision this difficult, IMO. GT5 will be as good as Forza 3, maybe better. If you have a need for realism then stick to PC racing sims.

Ok I've decided to go with the Logitech G27 and maybe ordering the special edition of GT5. will work out about R3500 for both. I can also play dirt2, need for speed shift, GTR:Evolution, etc with it.

Sony has lifted the bonnet on a pair of s****y European special edition releases of Polyphony Digital’s eagerly anticipated Gran Turismo 5.

First up is the pricey but mouth-watering Signature Edition, which will retail for €179.99 and offers up the following content:

·Metal sculpted box finished in SLS AMG Obsidian Black
·Exclusive GT branded SLS AMG 1:43 model car
·GT leather wallet containing Signature Edition competition entry card
·Branded USB key with Polyphony/Mercedes-Benz trailer
·GT branded metal key fob
·Signature Edition coffee table book featuring the beautiful cars and locations of Gran Turismo 5
·200 page Apex drivers magazine with hints on driving technique, car tuning, future technologies and more

Also included is five ChromeLine Collector’s Edition cars, six ‘stealth’ vehicles plus an exclusive dynamic theme. Furthermore, punters who fork out for the Signature Edition will be able to enter in to an exclusive competition. As described on the EU PS Blog, by entering “through a combination of meeting challenges in-game within Gran Turismo 5 and then subsequently pulling all the right moves at the AMG Signature Edition driving school, you could win what Kazunori Yamauchi himself has called the “most exciting car in the world right now”.

Details will be unveiled on the official GT website soon, so keep checking back if you are over 18 and hold a full licence to participate. The competition is open to those who reside in the following countries:

UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Greece, Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

I also played NFS: shift with the steering wheel and man that game is amazing with the G27. I love my 6 speed shifter. also going to try the clutch today for full sim racing effect.

nothing beats the wheel, i drove the m3 gtr around the nurburgring in 7.09 min in gt4 using the controller and did it in 6.12 min with the wheel. it makes a huge difference and also the game more fun in true sim experience.
