It's a great plastic. No squeaks like on my old Samsung. Also don't notice it with a cover on.

I am not dissing it because of the plastic - perhaps I should add that I got the Note 3 Pro Global for $12 more than a Note 2 Pro, which made more sense in my brain.

Ok mine is the redmi 2 pro maybe that's why.I got a notification it was available and did a manual download...700 odd mb
 
Can't find a official 5.1.1... Only custom roms.. Doesn't look like there's an official

Could you post a screenshot of your "About Phone" screen and what version you are currently running rom wise, think that is under the MIUI updater.
Can help you check
 
Cannot find an official 5.1.1 rom for this device :( And having bluetooth issues - keeps forgetting the device.

Where did you get yours from? All the other Pro models I know got the 5.1.1 update via OTA automatically, so it seems really odd that yours didn't.

Hoping the software upgrade fixes the bluetooth pairing issue.
