The Basic Education minister, Angie Motshekga, recently announced several changes planned for schools including the reduction of social distancing requirements from 1.5m to 1m.

Do you think is is wise? Or could this possibly fuel further outbreaks?

Face covers don't even work.

Before the pandemic all the schools in the underprivileged areas were cramming 40 pupils into classrooms designed for 20 pupils. This has not changed since the start of the pandemic. So where does the Minister think she will apply social distancing, when pupils are already sitting cheek by jowl?
