Apparently you can buy cartridges from this crowd. Once you buy a cartridge you can then get it filled up for R300 which works out cheaper then buying a new cartridge.

I have an HP Laser printer and was just wondering if anyone has used these guys or something similar and can grant some advice around this?

Thank you kindly.

I doubt it man, I think that whole story of using anything but geniune will damage your printer is just a scam, scaring so they buy the toner's from hp samsung etc.

Printer companies don't make money off the printers, they make heaps of money off cartridge sales.

Generic Toners with guarentee's are R399 Retail Original R600. Those are general prices.
And the the whole genuine story i true most of the time, not a scam due to poorly refilled cartridges, faulty outlets etc.

Rather go generic.

Where to get generic Toner though? I'd be happy if you could give a link ;)

Do you maybe have an email address or something? If you do, send me a pm please ;)

I'm sure as hell not going the refill route again thank you. I messed up a printer after a single refill. Anyways I'm getting 2500 pages (still not finished) from a 2000-page, R700 HP cartridge, so I can't complain about economy...

Same here to be honest. We get about 5500 from a 5k high yield toner on a 2008 Samsung laser. So I can't complain either, cost of toner is roughly just below R1k.

I would prefer if we could "test" a generic though and see the output ;)

The first time I refilled the printer it worked fine (it was a Lexmark and this was about 4 years ago I think). Then the second time the printer started giving issues, then later on it permanently looked out of ink. So I gave it to a charity place... :D

Shame man, poor charity place...

Is Generic Toner the same, or is it safer?

Its safe- its also a guarenteed product. Usually the brand is Penguin.
