Morning,

Any thoughts on who to send a DMCA notice to reflex.co.za - one of their clients is using some of my content without permission and is refusing to remove it.

Thanks.

Try contacting their ISP?
Probably easier to get them involved, or contact ISPA.

Or DDoS them.

Hhhmm, yeah can't seem to find much when digging around here.
Was your content not watermarked?

Might be worth getting lawyers involved if they're refusing to take it down.

I'm confused, is the content hosted in the US? Otherwise what is the point of sending a DMCA takedown notice?

you will have to go through ISPA on this.. Failing that, lawyers and subpoenas etc..

name and shame!

if a whole bunch of us start contacting them to remove the content the client might take notice :-)

Like Xerox for photocopy, etc

most people on here understood what I meant.

thanks Fulcrum29 - I didn't think to check the T&Cs page. I have filed a notice.

Best and easiest way is to go to a lawyers then a judge, and get a court order for them to do it. And if you, get them to insight the domain registrar to assist.
