Does anyone here suffer from chronic Reflux?

I have severe Reflux, did the Gastro Scope but only revealed a small Hernia and apparently nothing to worry about. Was put on 40mg Trustan but still suffer from it. I do smoke and drink but tried stopping for a while and still got Reflux. Changed diet as well to see maybe if its certain foods triggering it. Tried apple cider vinegar, ginger, Iberogast.

Just want to see if anyone else suffers from it and how they manage it.

I had severe heartburn from my early twenties... Was offered a Altosec capsule to try and never looked back... I take one capsule every week or so and dont ever get heartburn anymore.

Been on Trustan/Pantor/Nexium for many years.

Once I went Keto and completely cut carbs it completely went away.

When I do fall into the carb trap once in a while. The reflux/heartburn is literally back that same night.

Do you drink instant coffee or black coffee? That was the cause for me.

Also had the scope and also a small hernia. The reflux doesn't really get to me (odd?) but it causes gastritis that is a pain to live with.

I've recently switched to Trustan and it seems to be helping although I must still watch what I eat and drink.

My endoscope showed nothing which I feel is ridiculous considering I suffer with burning hunger pains and now back and chest pain ,coughing.

Went on antibiotics twice and a ton of nexium tablets but didn't help

I assume I also have a hital hernia or something with gastritis but I have no idea

Anyone have the same symptoms above I mentioned?

It actually feels as if you are having a heart attack and is becoming unbearable now. I honestly feel after having the Covid jabs all this kak started but that's another Thread...

I had a tear since I was a child, was put on Nexium in my teens and the doctors didn't want to do an op. I was 28 when a new doctor strongly recommended that I undergo a Nissen Fundoplication. Been a better person since, no more Nexium needed. I personally don't believe that long-term Nexium use is any good.

My wife and i suffer from reflux. Hers more severe than mine. Spicy food and alcohol could be a trigger. We use OMEZ

Bro, now you have my attention.

I started feeling it 1 week after covid jab. I was convinced it was that but the doctors blame the hernia but apparently, 1 in 5 men have one.

Funny enough my wife also had gastritis last year for the first time in her life also after being vaccinated.

Full on dude. Not long after the jab it started. Also got IBS and other weird cramps/pains on the side of stomach...

Started Altosec many years ago, initially , 1 Tab a year, gradually had to increase my intake to the point where I'm popping 1 tab daily now , Going to have a scope soon.

I tried to isolate all potential triggers , cannot find the source , if i stop Altosec for a few days , heartburn , chest discomfort comes back with vengeance.
