Ye saw some at the golf course and during lunch. How long will they be there for?

I mean, they to scared to go back to the skwatta camps, and even if they brave to go back, they gonna get beat up again....

How do you check the news on the radio?

Anyhow, I hope they dont get comfortable and it starts to grow, its an eyesore, it breeds crime and just starts trouble.

I was thinking of buying food for them, but the bigger picture persuaded me not to.

So we went to give the refugees some food last night, but the UN guys said we not allowed to coz it could be poisoned.

Nah I wouldnt do that!!
Its UN policy. No "sponsored food"

2 months might be the official time frame, but IMO it is going to be a bit more permanent when the refugees figure out that they'll have to re-integrate with the people that tried to kill them in the first place (or second if coming from zim).

Also, Midrand is cold as hell in winter, and with the rain it is going to be hell. Just imagine all the fires for heat, combined with tent canvas.

Three buses and trucks with luggage all with a police escort just screamed past us here in Jeppestown. Carrying the foreigners from Jeppestown Police station. I hope they are not taking them to the Vickers road site that they were planning on, cos there is going to be a blood bath if they do that. The Vickers Road site is not too far from the Jeppe Hostels. :(

Its perforated material, not warm at all, not 100% waterproof either...
