Im so frustrated with telkom online department. I placed an online order for LTE wifi on the 8 January 2020 and received a call from a lady from telkom to explain what was about to happen and when i can expect to receive my router and sim card.
Later that same day i received a sms stating that there will be an initial debit order of R999 and that i should make sure i have sufficient funds available in my account. The money debited on 13 January 2020.
I phoned Telkom on the 13 January 2020 and asked for clarity once more about this and they said now that the amout has debited they will run a credit check and when successful my order will be processed.
I asked how long, she said 48hours. The time expired and i phoned again. Same story different agent. Waited another 48hours. Continued with the same story for almost two weeks until i went to telkom and spoke to a consultant there. I phoned the online sales on 10213 and cancelled. The lady took my details as to why i was canceling the application, told her took too long to provess. We took out the same package for wifi and got it immediately and everything was sorted on the wifi side of things.
Now they are giving me the run around with my refund. Bouncing me from one agent to the next. Telling my sad story to all these people with no positive outcome to date. No one i have spoken to can help me with getting my money back. I feel i was robbed and violated.
How come it's called customer service if the customer is not being served. "Im sorry you feel that way sir, but i will put you through to someone who might be able to help".
