Refurb PS3's are hit and miss. Some run as long as an original retail one and others conk in after a couple of months.

Reason I say this is that we repair quite allot of refurbished consoles (both Xbox 360 and PS3) with various issues.

Thanks alot. I called Game and the want R2500 for a refurbished unit. In that case I am rather going to buy a new one, then I have the warranty,etc.

I just thought if you got a refurbished unit for under R2000 it would be worth it.

That R145 a month deal sounds really good though, I am going to check it out!

What's your reasoning for getting a refurbed one specifically? I mean, you can always buy a second hand one?

I just thought a refurbished one will be in a better condition(like new). But o well, will have to just buy a new one.
