Thats quite funny. In my social circles(creatives) people who wear those smart suit shoes are seen as pretentious or mostly gay(not in a bad way, just as an indicator)

I guess for the corporate types the perception either differs or they just prefer those qualities.

If any of my girl friends were to go on a dinner date with a guy and he pithced wearing those they'd simpatheticly ask him whose funeral he attended. Either that or if his mom knows his out of the closet yet.

Dress up in a nice Golf ****, chinos perfectly ironed, nice clean shoes (Leather).
Once done, take her some where nice. Maybe a few drinks at a news cafè or something.

There is an awesome place to have drinks which is in Sandton City. It's a very lani place with leather couches and and and. Close to the food court up the escaltors

LOL, for me there is nothing more sexy than a guy with jeans a good sexy t-shirt formal shoes. Then when we go a bit fancier you just put on a great suit jacket over the t and you have very smart casual if not you just have a casual jean and t shirt with sexy shoes
