No. The plugin creates the Playlist in real time. It includes downloading a license key each time you want to start playing a stream. The nature of how it works is too dynamic for a static Playlist.
 
Just noticed that in Kodi the stream is 720p. Is there anyway to get this better quality?
I thought that DSTV streams at 1080p.

They will never stop it.

More will pop up and so brazen that they even use cdn providers to hide the real hosts.

IPTV is like torrent sites. DSTV will also not be able to stop them because they have the service in so many other African countries so there are so many people selling their streaming credentials for extra cash.
 
Sadly this past weekend I couldnt stream the rugby game without dstv buffering on both the app and kodi. Gave up and watched a TV show instead from plex.

Sure.

The dns r-live-cache.akamaized.net is what DSTV Now resolves to stream the live streams from when watching dstv now. On saturday, most of it, it seems akamai was not only rerouted international, but also there was packet loss during the game. The specific shade of red at the time of the rugby game (18:30 to 20:30), shows around 25-50% packet loss. The packet loss is huge, that is what caused the buffering.

The spike usually doesnt matter, as long as the performance is good and the packet loss is at 0%.

Had I looked at this graph, I would probably have switched dns providers to hopefully get routed to a different cluster.

This is an issue with you ISP though.

It's served from onnet caches first then optinet or akamai ditect then international last.

Yip, like I said, if I looked into it at the time I could have forced the traffic to different cluster. But was definitely a problem with my isps cluster.

Believe it or not you can actually force the traffic to come from a specific cluster even from another ISP.

I also manually ran the github action, so the file used by the addon should be updated by tomorrow morning.

If there are other channels missing, let me know. I updated the 2x NATGEO channels and added 3x sport channels. Not sure if they actually have epg but if they do, it will be there now.
