I am referring DStv / Multichoice in SA via satellite. Reasonably stable but too expensive....

My experience with various IPTV options, is that they are also "reasonably" stable, just that there are different variables, that affect the stability of the service. Also the variables are generally less visible, where IPTV is concerned.

Whichever way you go, you pays your money, and takes your chance. Sometimes the cookie crumbles in your favour, and other times less so.

I think Matt is pissed and so is not working on it right now.

There is some code in the plugin. If you use it, there is a device registered to your dstv account called "chrome". So it uses one of the 4 registered devices. I assume per kodi install, unless you somehow copy the userdata over.

Then the next annoying thing is, you start a stream, decide naw, stop it, then when you try to play the next, it says something about concurrent stream limit reached. Then you kill kodi, start again, then it looks like you can view another stream.

It was basically created so people who had devices, like Fire TV sticks and others, which DSTV could not be arsed to make their rather buggy App run on, to be able to watch DSTV. It was tho, for many a way to sidestep, DSTV's generous 4 device limit. Which is abuse.
