Howsit guys,

Pardon what may be a silly Q but do remotre blasters work through walls ?

I need to get one as i'm tired to run around from b/room to decoder to change a channel but there is no straight visible line bewteen the two rooms.

Thx
P

Yeah, it's RF.

Only hassle I have with mine is that I cannot play TM Nations on the TV in the bedroom using a MCE keyboard, because the Ellies remote blaster stops transmitting a signal after about 20 seconds, so I stop accelerating :)

Is the decoder is connected to the far-away tv via co-ax arial cable?
If so, the phone DSTV and ask them about their remote that uses the CO-Axial cable to control the DSTV decoder.

Tried to call MC but after 25mins hold time their IVR cut me off

Anyway, will a TvLink Eye work in this case ? The second TV is connected to the decoder via straight RF connection (no splitters) and its a normal single view 1110.

I think the TV Link eye may be cheaper than the blaster (or not ?). I am not looking for Xtra view, i just want to change channels of the decoder from another room.

The TV Link Eye should work then. It just needs 9v of power. They are R70 bucks from multichoice.
