hi guys

im trying to remote onto two pc at work but because i have one public ip address it will not work.

all pc have window 7. the two pc at work are win 7 32bit ultimate and at home one is win 7 32bit ultimate and the other home basic.

netgear dgn 2200mv2 router

now on the router i added the service and allowed through fire wall and the first pc with port 3389.
the first pc works well.

the second pc i change the port to 3390 and also on router add new service etc. it will not connect. i dont know why

please can someone help on setup.

Hi Deeps,

Try to leave both Windows 7 machines on the standard 3398 port and create another port on the router like 3390 and point that to port 3389 on the second Windows PC. I haven't worked on that model of Netgear but they usually have good port forward features.

Correct, use Teamviewer install on all PC's setup an account and you will be to access all your machine from anywhere using either their client or their web interface. It's awesome.... No need to open ports etc etc.

Perfect for the occasional remote work or helping someone quickly

"What you are exactly trying to achieve? Remote Connection between Office and home computer or Remote connection between two home computers? If between Office and home, try using various remote support services such as gosupportnow, logmeinrescue, GoToMyPC and check whether you are able to establish remote connection.

If between two home computers through same router and on same network, you can use Microsoft RDP tool to establish remote connection.
